The Grave Charges The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham faces allegations of numerous sexual offences – some of which involve acts against children younger than 13 – between 2017 and 2021. One deputy chief CPS official commented, “Our prosecutors have diligently worked to support a detailed and complex investigation, meticulously examining the available evidence to establish that there is sufficient evidence to proceed to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.” Scope of the Police Inquiry These allegations come after what investigators described as a “detailed inquiry” into reported sexual offences at medical facilities: the Royal Stoke university hospital and a facility in Dudley. The defendant is due to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on 20 January. List of Charges Prosecutors outline the forty-five sexual offences comprise: Fifteen counts of sexual assault.
