The Congressional oversight panel has released a set of roughly 70 photos from the estate of former convicted individual convicted of sex crimes Jeffrey Epstein.

This marks the third release from a tranche of in excess of 95,000 images the committee has obtained from Epstein's estate. It includes pictures of quotes from the novel Lolita scrawled across a woman's body, and censored pictures of women's international passports.

This action occurs mere hours before the December 19th cut-off for the Department of Justice to make public each files connected to its probe into Epstein.

"These photos pose more queries about exactly what the Department of Justice has in its holdings," said the ranking member of the panel, Robert Garcia.

What's in the Photos Made Public

Some of the images published on recently feature Epstein in discussion with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky aboard a private plane; Bill Gates seen next to a individual whose face is redacted; Steve Bannon sitting at a workstation across from Epstein, and previous Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.

These are the latest high-net-worth, prominent men to be pictured in Epstein property photos published by the oversight panel - formerly disclosed images also show US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, previous US treasury secretary Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Appearing in the photographs is not indication of any illegal activity, and a number of the photographed individuals have asserted they were not involved in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a announcement issued alongside the photograph disclosure, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein property holders did not provide background information or timeframes for the images.

"Photos were chosen to furnish the general populace with openness into a illustrative selection of the photographs received from the property, and to give perspectives into Epstein's network and his extremely disturbing activities," the release reads.

The publication also features multiple photographs of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita written in dark ink across several locations of a woman's body, like her upper body, lower extremity, hip, and back. Lolita recounts the account of a adolescent who was groomed by a adult literature professor.

A particular excerpt from the novel scrawled across a woman's upper body reads, "Lo-lee-ta: the point of the tongue making a journey of three steps down the roof of the mouth to land, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a series of photographs of female travel documents and official papers from nations worldwide, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the details on the papers, such as names and DOBs, is redacted but the House Oversight Committee stated in a announcement that the passports are associated with "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were engaging".

Another image shows Epstein positioned at a workstation closely surrounded by three women whose faces have been obscured - one individual has her palm on Epstein's upper body under his garment, and a second is crouching to look at a adjacent computer. Epstein can be seen to be assisting the final person fasten a bracelet.

A further image disclosed is a screenshot of SMS messages from an unnamed individual who claims they have been sent "a number of girls" and are requesting "$1000 for each individual".

Image Disclosure Occurs Ahead of DOJ Deadline

The body has a vast number of images in its custody from the Epstein estate, which are "simultaneously graphic and mundane," its announcement on recently clarified.

The House Oversight Committee first legally compelled the estate of Epstein, who died in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on accusations of sex trafficking, in August.

The photographs and records the Epstein estate's representatives provided to the committee are distinct from what is often called "Epstein-related records". That material are papers under the justice department's possession associated with its independent investigation into Epstein.

In accordance with the recently passed law, which the President enacted recently, the DOJ has until 19 December to publish its records. The full nature of the contents found in the DOJ's files is unclear, and it's likely that much of the material will be heavily redacted, akin to House Oversight Committee materials
